About

Metalmorphosis is a Winston-Salem based metal fabrication shop and art collective run by Gabe Bridges and Mark Lamb since it's inception in Mark's garage in 2013. They have a combined 37 years experience in welding, machining, and metal fabrication.

Gabe Bridges has 23 years of experience working with metal, and attended Forsyth Technical Community College focused on Welding Technologies. His first ten years of metalwork were spent working for an internationally known glass artist, where he produced high quality stainless steel structures as bases for the glass sculptures.

Mark Lamb has 14 years of experience in the metalworking industry and attended Forsyth Technical Community College for MIG welding. Although has a background in consumer and industrial electronics repair, Mark finds working in metal as a medium fascinating, and collaborates with Gabe on projects from small metal repairs to large art installations.

CAPABILITIES

Our capabilities include MIG, TIG, and SMAW welding; sawing, shearing, punching; bending and rolling, manual and CNC machining, and two axis plasma cutting. We also have long standing relationships with vendors in the Triad area that we can call on to provide services we do not currently have in-house, such as production sawing or CNC water jet cutting.
